Music

Pick library music or an original score, for the whole film or a range of scenes.

Open 5 Sound and click ⚙ Settings on the Background music lane.

  1. Choose the Source: Library (included), Original score (composed for your film, uses credits) or My music.
  2. Pick a Music style, or No music. With the library, browse with Next track →.
  3. For an original score, edit its description if you like. It’s composed when you create the video, or click Compose now to hear it first. Compose a new one makes another; Earlier scores keeps the ones before.
  4. Choose where it plays: all scenes (one continuous piece), this scene, or a range of scenes. Then click Apply.

Music settings: source, style, Compose now, Stereo or 5.1 surround, and a range of scenes
  • For a range, pick the Start scene and End scene. Render as Continuous plays one piece across them; Restart starts the same piece again in each scene.
  • Sound: Stereo for phones, laptops and social media, or 5.1 surround for TVs and home theatres, with the narration in the centre speaker. It applies to the whole film; WhatsApp, Square and 4:5 downloads stay stereo.
  • The % on the music lane sets its volume.

Different music for different parts: apply one style to scenes 1–4, then another to scenes 5–8.
