Logline, treatment and insights

Shape the whole story: logline, treatment, story canvas, character graph and script insights.

Logline and treatment

Open Logline & treatment from the right-hand menu. Generate logline and Generate treatment draft them for you, then Use this or Dismiss; Edit to write your own. The treatment is built from your scenes, or from the logline if you haven't written any yet: about 700–1,100 words for a feature or TV pilot, 300–600 for other formats.

Story canvas

Story canvas shows every scene as a card. Drag cards to rearrange them, drag from a card's right edge to another card to create a branch, and click a card to open the scene. To remove a connection, select it and press Delete.

Character graph

On the canvas, switch to Character graph and click Generate character graph. The AI reads your scenes and maps who relates to whom, and in which scenes. Click Regenerate after big rewrites.

Script insights

Open Insights and click Generate insights. It reviews the whole script: an improvement index and top three fixes, hook, engagement, stakes, genre fit and pacing, each character's arc, dialogue balance and on-the-nose lines, plus production reality (shoot days, budget tier, locations, cast) and comparable films.

Insights and the character graph need written scenes. Run them again after a rewrite to see what changed.
