Animate scenes

Turn still scenes into moving clips, then re-animate or go back to the picture.

Scenes you don't animate still move, with a gentle camera move. Animation makes a real clip in which people and things move.

  1. Open 4 Animate and pick a scene.
  2. Write what should happen in Animation instructions ("she turns to the window as the rain starts"), or leave it empty and the AI writes the motion.
  3. Click ✦ Animate. Choose Draft (480p) or HD (1080p), check the credits and click Animate.
  4. Wait 1–5 minutes. You can keep working on other things.

  • Normal mode: ★ Animate N hero shots animates the key scenes the AI picked.
  • Movie mode: 🎬 Animate all animates every scene that needs it as one continuous film.
  • Re-animate makes a new take. Version history keeps every take; Use this switches back.
  • Remove animation returns the scene to its picture; the clip stays in Version history.

Scenes left still get (at the top, for the Whole film) sets how the scenes you don’t animate move: Dynamic (varied camera moves with crossfades), Gentle (slow push-ins and pull-outs with cuts) or Still (no movement).

For one still scene, set its Camera move (push in, pan, tilt…) and Strength, and the Transition to next scene (cut, crossfade, dissolve…). ⤢ on the scene plays it larger.

Draft costs about 100 credits a scene; HD (Studio) about 305. Try Draft first, then make the best scenes in HD. If an animation fails, its credits come back.
