Storyboards
Turn a written scene into 4–6 sketched panels, then time them.
A storyboard is 4–6 black-and-white pencil sketches of a scene, drawn from what you wrote and your World Bible.
- Open a scene and click the Storyboard tab.
- Click Generate storyboard.
- Choose the Style (the project's, or a director just for this scene), the Time of day, the Mood and an optional Lighting note. Add anything else in Anything else?.
- Click Generate. It takes 30–60 seconds.
Each panel shows its description and shot, with a Notes box for your own notes. Switch from Grid to Timeline to set how long each panel lasts, or Estimate timing with AI, then ▶ Play. The project's Timeline page plays every scene's panels in order. The ☀ chip above the panels shows the last lighting choices; click it to change them and regenerate.
↻ Regenerate replaces all of the scene's panels. Shots in the shot list lose their panel picture, so regenerate before you build the shot list.
A storyboard costs about 50 credits. The free Starter plan includes 10 free storyboard runs, shared with short-video picture runs.
