AI writing tools
Expand a scene, suggest the next one, get a scene evaluated, or think differently.
The AI assistant sits beside the editor. You can switch between Claude and OpenAI. Pick the one you use most as your Default AI provider in your profile. The AI reads your World Bible, so set that up first for better results.
- Expand scene writes a fuller version of the scene. Choose Replace with this, Create another version (keeps your original) or Dismiss.
- Suggest next scene drafts what could come next. Use this and move to next scene adds it after the current one.
- Evaluate scene scores the scene out of 100 for purpose, conflict and stakes, pacing, dialogue, character voice and visual writing, with the top fixes. After you edit, Re-evaluate scores it again (it uses credits again).
Expand scene and Suggest next scene ask first: the first click opens a box for any tweaks ("make it tenser", "end on a reveal"); click again, or press ⌘↵, to run it.
Think differently
- Ask an expert: put a question to one of your consultants from the World Bible.
- Inspiration: a filmmaker quote to get you going (free).
- Writer's block? Unblock: three fresh perspectives on where the scene could go.
AI writing tools use credits: about 5–30 each. You keep your text; nothing is replaced until you choose to.
