Characters who speak

1. In 2 World, open a character's Voice settings, pick what they Speaks and a voice, and click Use for …. If you skip this, the AI picks a voice when you animate.
2. In 4 Animate, write the spoken words in quotes in Animation instructions, with the speaker named just before: Amara turns to Ravi. Amara: "We should go back."
3. Click ✦ Animate. The Character speech section lists each line and its timing.

• A scene plays either narration or dialogue, not both.
• Up to two people can speak in one scene.
• Two people talking in English are made in HD and lip-synced. In other languages, two people can fill about 5 seconds.
• Faces must be clearly visible. If not, the app offers ↻ Redraw for speaking.

Changed the words or a voice after animating? Re-animate so the lips match.
